Reviews

With the death of the king, the issue of his successor unexpectedly becomes the center of a debate. In no time the debate proves itself a profitable business for many, but also places the country in danger of an invasion. When the danger becomes inevitable, the advisors have to decide if the profit is worth the cost while those in the line of succession have their own decisions to make.

The story describes how money can direct the votes of the advisors. There were lots of funny parts. I love Gideon. He is such a selfless prince, but at the same time, he is calculating when it is needed. If you are looking for different, I recommend this book.
