The queen, believing herself secure on her throne, continues ignoring the needs of her people. But her throne is not as secure as she thinks. Unknown to her, the former king has a daughter, Aritas. Aritas cares for the people and she is ready to help them get rid of the mean Queen Shantelle.

I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading the book. Then a few pages into the story, I knew it was my kind of book. The kind of book that makes you laugh and think. Marian, Shantelle, and Talon’s friend made me laugh. Aritas, Finan and Aodh made me think. I will read it again.

The story touches on the lack of equality in society while it is humorous at times. I really enjoyed reading it.
