Reviews
The story follows the lives of Pascal and Kayla. One is nineteen and the other one is seventeen. They both live in a place called the unviolated land, but they have volunteered to experience life as we live it. At one point, however, they discover why they were never born.

Pascal is a serious person and cares about people and what happens to them when they live in countries that have no democracy. The story also touches on life in refugee camps. I found the storyline refreshingly different. But the main point of the story was, of course, the fact that the characters of the book have never been born.
