Not long after Bria, the daughter of Thomas Becket, a known author, joins a religious community, the neighboring countries invade her country. Soon Bria realizes that her community members do more than meditate and feed the poor; they are witnesses of justice. Being a witness of justice, however, is not that popular with the invaders, and in no time things become more than complicated.

Reviews
School of Clarity and Love had a lot of elements of what a real situation of that type would be like. The issue of remembering the past and navigating the future was skillfully balanced. I tried to predict the end but couldn't.

I have always wondered how people live in a monastery. This gave me a good idea. I loved it.

I enjoyed reading this book. I loved when Lawrence quoted Thomas Becket. Loretta was an interesting character. The problems that immigrants face beautifully came to life. I certainly recommend this book.
