Old rumors surface once more when old enemies return to the capital. To keep his crown, Ewan has to find out who is on his side and who is pretending. This won't be easy as some of his old enemies are his siblings.

Abriel and Ewan are twin brothers. Ewan, being born first, is the king. He distrusts almost everyone around him, but it is easy to see that he loves Abriel, and Abriel loves him. There is a connection between the two and no one can break it. The two have an older half sister, Alexis, who is not close to them, but she is close to her older half brothers Alex, Bryant and Sasha. But these three want to replace Ewan with Abriel, and Ewan knows. So Ewan is right not to trust them.

King Ewan doesn't trust his siblings. In fact he believes they are conspiring against him. And he might be right because soon we learn that they have betrayed him before. Ewan instructs his master of spies to track down their movements, but I am not sure he is ready to hear what he might discover.
